Bech-Bruun’s Renewable Energy team nominated for prestigious wind investment award
The Renewable Energy team at Bech-Bruun, co-headed by Peter Østergaard Nielsen, Anders Hørlyck Jensen and Jakob Østervang, is proud and delighted to have been nominated for the “Law Firm of the Year” award. This accolade demonstrates how Bech-Bruun’s renewable energy practice is now globally at the forefront of wind energy advisory work and testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire group. As the only Nordic law firm nominated, Bech-Bruun is honoured to be shortlisted alongside a prominent group of global names.
The awards are judged by a panel of industry leaders and experts, from developers like RWE Renewables to financial institutions like Deutsche Bank and Siemens Financial Services. The winner will be announced during a virtual award ceremony on 20 May 2021, in conjunction with Financing Wind Europe.
2020 and 2021 has seen a string of exciting renewable energy developments, particularly in relation to offshore wind, with multi-GW projects reaching financial close, emerging markets opening up, turbines growing in size, and the big oil and gas majors moving in. It is a time of great optimism, not just for the sector but also for Bech-Bruun’s Renewable Energy team.
