How we work

We believe that global collaboration is the fastest way to green transition. Therefore, State of Green aims to facilitate dialogue and spur international partnerships. By doing so, we hope to inspire, share, and connect with like-minded partners as we move forward towards net zero.

State of Green shares Danish know-how via publications, digital showcases, at international conferences, by welcoming delegations, and through media engagements. With an active voice and an international presence, we hope that others will learn from Denmark’s green transition.

Let our green journey guide yours

Like many countries, Denmark was once entirely dependent on imported fossil fuels. Today, many consider Denmark a global green frontrunner.

Denmark’s transition is a story of moving from black to green by means of public-private partnerships, broad political agreements, strong research and development and a private sector bold enough to supercharge action at an early stage. Standing on the shoulders of fifty years of dedicated efforts, we have come far. We have made decisive changes to how sustainability is integrated in industries as well as local economies, but we ought to get even further. As such, State of Green welcomes new partners to share ideas, solutions and technologies with global impact. At State of Green, you can find new partners and tested solutions within energy, water, cities, and circular economy.
