Danish underground holds higher potential for CCUS than anticipated
17 February 2023A new report by the Danish Energy Agency shows Denmark will be able to capture around 10.8 million tonnes of CO2 by 2040. This is approximately 1-2 million tonnes more than what previous reports have suggested.

Denmark grants first full-scale CO2 storage permits in the Danish North Sea
6 February 2023With three new licenses for large-scale carbon capture and storage (CCS), a new industry is growing in the Danish part of the North Sea. The venture begins in 2025. From 2030, up to 13 million tons of CO2 annually will be pumped into the underground.
