Strong Demand for Due Diligence Services

29 October 2014

At K2 Management we see an increasing demand for an interest in our technical due diligence services. Investors and developers want to be absolutely sure that their money is well spent before investing. Currently we are performing technical due diligence on four continents.

Central Europe

For a US-based developer we are investigating three Central European wind farms in operation. For another US-based developer we have signed a Master Service Agreement (MSA) to supply a wide range of services (due diligence, project development etc.) in Europe, North America and Latin America.

Gobi Desert

For an international renewable energy fund manager investing in Asian and African emerging markets we are analyzing foundation quality issues. In Asia we are also helping a German developer with contract negotiation in the Gobi Desert for an upcoming wind project.

We are pleased to see an increasing demand for our services and in-depth wind turbine knowledge. Our know-how enables us quickly to investigate and identify root causes or issues as we know where and how to dig. As all risks and opportunities are input for potential investments,” Kurt Stürken, Managing Director of K2 Management in Germany explains.

Kurt Stürken, who has worked at Enercon and Repower (now Senvion) for more than 15 years, is currently also helping two other German wind turbine manufacturers with sales strategy and management advise around the project execution team.

New client in Brazil

In Brazil K2 Management has for a new client been awarded with an assignment to review a Service Management Agreement (MSA’s) and Turbine Supply Agreement (TSA’s) for an upcoming wind farm.
