Danish Cleantech Companies hold a Strong Position on the Global Market

Danish clean technology companies have a good chance of getting a solid foothold in the growing global market for green solutions. But to succeed on the world market, businesses are increasingly required to enter into alliances and partnerships.

Highest growth among Danish strongholds

A recently published report documents a 10% yearly growth in the global cleantech market from 2010 through 2015. From a Danish point of view it is interesting that Danish strongholds such as energy-effective building materials, smart grids and wind turbines account for the highest growth rates, while solar energy is expected to fall.

The 30 largest cities in the world are expected to account for 20% of global economic growth until 2015.
