17 June 2016

The Copenhagen town hall's "Festsalen" hall hosted the award ceremony on the 13th of June 2016. The three big winners are: INFUSER (innovation category), SLA (environment category), and KHRS (social responsibility). The Lord Mayor of Copenhagen Frank Jensen had an opening speech, and commented at the end:

"Congratulations to the three winners of the Copenhagen Business Award, which example shows that growth, innovation and environmental responsibility can well go together. Copenhagen should become even better at creating new jobs and attracting foreign investments - the winners greatly contribute to the these."

During his speech, the mayor for Technique & Environment Morten Kabell emphasized that the award was granted to INFUSER for the cooperation with the University of Copenhagen and for the company’s success in turning academic achievements into tangible business propositions and exports. And all for the benefit of the environment at large.

In his acceptance speech the CEO of INFUSER, Lars Nannerup, paid special tribute to visionary international investors that over the years have had faith in the company and in Denmark as a good place to invest.

Lars Nannerup also emphasized that INFUSER would never have seen the light had it not been for the Danish seed capital fund CAPNOVA, THE DANISH GROWTH FUND and the University of Copenhagen with whom INFUSER continue to enjoy a mutually valuable collaboration.
