2. Communication and campaigns for sustainable practices. Too often campaigns for more sustainable behaviour are based on sudden impulses. However, for a campaign to succeed and get people involved or to actually change behaviour, the communication must be based on analysis and facts. Greenovation professionalizes communication in campaigns for sustainable policy and behavioural change.

3. The politics behind making a green city.  Copenhagen has a long history of sustainable development, but there is more than the eyes can see. It is our experience that the best sustainable policies are achieved in a close and trusting interaction between politicians, officials and the population. Too often one sees that the politicians are involved in individual cases while the civil servants formulate long-term strategies that do not receive the necessary political consideration and attention.

The ideal is a process involving politicians, officials and citizens, with mutual respect for each other's roles.
