But first and foremost, the purpose of the Aniheater is to make the sows and their offspring more comfortable which will increase animal welfare. The traditional infrared heat bulb, centralized the heat, which cause the piglets either freeze or having it too hot in the nest, in other words, the piglets have an uncomfortable nest. In contrast to Aniheater, the piglets will have a better and more comfortable heat input, as it's evenly distributed in the nest.

The improved immediate environment by using Aniheater in the nest, will have a positive effect on the sows in the farrowing unit, by lowering the room temperature. It will contribute to sows feed uptake and improved milk production for the suckling piglets.

Secondly, the working process gets much easier in the stable with Aniheater. The unit can be cleaned with a high-pressure washer without any issues, because of the unique patented solution.

Today many people use time on moving infrared heat bulb from farrowing crates each week and If you don’t take good care, then the bulb gets damaged and must be changed. At the same time infrared heat bulbs have to be replaced regularly, and using time on maintenance. Today’s pig producers are big scale and professional units, therefor it is also important the time is spent efficient in the stable on improving the mortality, using the time on the animals and not on maintenance!

Since the bulbs are made of glass and filaments, they are thus also highly fragile. This means, there a significant fire hazard by using infrared heat bulbs.

[green]A recent case of ours is this;

A farmer has 1000 farrowing crats.
His annual expenses by using infrared heat bulbs and electricity, amounts to 234.520 DKK.

By changing to Future Farming “Aniheater” and “Double Switch”, the annual expenses will drop to 100.800 DKK.

The farmer will save annually 133.720 DKK and a dramatic reduction in CO2 (KG) emissions on 8.208.
