Copenhagen, the world’s first CO2-neutral capital in 2025 uses NOVENCO’s reliable fans
Among the biggest of HOFOR’s – Greater Copenhagen Utility – investments in recent years, the acquisition of the heat and power plant Amagerværket in Copenhagen, NOVENCO Building & Industry is a proud supplier of a complete environmentally friendly ventilation system. The system is for the biomass-fired boiler plant area of the power plant and is part of the investments in support of the climate plan for Copenhagen.
Once the investments are complete in 2025, the city will move to the first place on the list of CO2-neutral capitals in the World. This and other installations at the power plant are well on their way, and the production of heat and power is set to commence in 2019.
The NOVENCO delivery of ventilation system equipment consists of roof fans, recirculation fans, as well as supply- and exhaust smoke fans, which is all, based on the renowned NovAx™ axial flow fans. The proven durability of the NOVENCO system will assure reliable ventilation of the biomass-fired boiler plant facilities for many years and contribute to a greener and sustainable Copenhagen.
