Nordsense aims to make the world’s waste collection greener, cleaner, and smarter. The green-tech organization is on a mission to turn traditional waste management on its head by pioneering smart waste management efforts with IoT sensors and data insights.

The world is far from sustainable when it comes to waste management, with almost 80% of waste collections happening at the wrong time. Nordsense was founded in 2015 in Denmark with backing from Silicon Valley to solve this issue and address the lack of sustainability, resource efficiency, and data-driven practices in today’s waste management.
