Wind energy plays a key role in reaching Denmark’s target of 70 % greenhouse gas emission reductions by 2030. And with some of the best wind conditions in the world, it is easy to understand how Denmark has become a global hub for wind power technology.
Discover Danish wind energyFrom March 20-22, WindEurope’s annual on- and offshore wind energy event will take place in Bilbao, Spain. The conference and exhibition draws over 12,000 attendees over the course of three days seeking insights into the current landscape of European wind energy.
The 2024 edition of WindEurope will seek to follow up on last year’s eventful conference in Copenhagen, Denmark where the global wind sector returned to the cradle of today’s wind industry. Back then, State of Green launched a digital visualization of the full Danish wind energy value chain, as well as organising business and press delegation trips, showcasing some of Denmark’s offshore wind energy production sites.

This year’s event will again feature numerous conference sessions with hundreds of speakers and over 400 exhibitors representing the entire wind value chain, eager to showcase innovations and forge new partnerships. And Denmark will once again be strongly represented.
