Offshore galore: The global wind industry returned to Denmark

Last week, Copenhagen hosted Wind Europe's annual conference by bringing together companies and professionals across the global wind energy value chain. As part of the event, State of Green hosted a US delegation and launched a digital visualization of the full Danish energy wind value chain.

Last week was an eventful one for the global wind industry. With the global wind industry gathered Copenhagen, the Danish capital opened its doors to the global wind industry, as Wind Europe’s annual conference returned to the cradle of home of today’s wind industry.

As part of the event, State of Green welcomed wind professionals for a comprehensive tour across the Denmark, as well as launching a brand new digital visualisation of the Danish wind value chain.

 

Welcome to the home of wind energy

With a sold-out exhibition in Copenhagen, the conference brought together over 500 companies and organisations across the global wind energy value chain. Before Copenhagen welcomed thousands of energy leaders and decision-makers, State of Green, Danish Wind Export and Green Power Denmark kicked off the global wind industry’s leading conference by welcoming a delegation of wind professionals from the US for a two-day field trip in a wet and windy Northern Jutland. With the purpose of providing deep insights into the strengths of the Danish wind sector, the delegation visited a number of solution providers, covering all aspects from energy production to innovation. reserach and sector integration.

 

A new digital visualisation of the Danish wind value chain

Together with Green Power Denmark, The Danish Energy AgencyDI – Dansk Industri, Danish Wind Export and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State of Green seek to showcase the solutions that make up the Danish wind value chain. From R&D, installation and grid management to sustainable supply chains, Denmark covers it all. That is why we launched our brand-new visualisation of the Danish wind value chain at WindEurope 2023. Covering the full spectre of the wind industry, the visualisation is a single-entry point to everything from recyclable blades and bird monitoring systems to maritime spatial planning.
