Through interdisciplinary research, SDU Climate Cluster is working to contribute to the development towards a climate-neutral society.

In that societal transformation, research has an important role. It is through interdisciplinary research that we develop and test new methods, technologies, and ways of thinking that we can use to equip society against climate change and push it in a more sustainable direction. Therefore, SDU Climate Cluster is based on themes such as behavior, consumption, decision-making power, innovation, design, health, and the balance of nature.

The ambition with SDU Climate Cluster is to create optimal conditions for pioneering, excellent and interdisciplinary research, education, and dissemination within the climate area. For this purpose, the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) has allocated DKK 96 million to five financial means to stimulate interdisciplinary climate research at SDU and in collaboration with society by 2030.
