GREEN TALKS: new digital flagship service

GREEN TALKS is State of Green’s new digital flagship service aimed at a global audience. Through monthly webinars, different aspects of the global green transition will be examined and discussed, and participants will get the chance to hear from a range of relevant and interesting speakers.

The launch event on 27 May will focus on partnerships for sustainable growth in the wake of COVID-19.

In 2019, the Danish government committed Denmark to reduce CO2 emissions by 70% by 2030 – an ambitious goal requiring new technologies, solutions and most importantly: partnerships. Early on, the Danish Government launched 13 ‘Climate Partnerships’ across industries to engage the private sector in mapping out a route to the 70% emissions cut.

The Climate Partnerships have developed an extensive set of recommendations that aim to bring down emissions dramatically during this decade - while maintaining commercial competitiveness. The valuable efforts and output of the 13 Climate Partnerships can be used as a strong foundation for a green recovery of the global economy after the global COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring economic progress and reduction of CO2 emissions at the same time: green growth.
