With major events and activities ahead, such as WindEurope in Copenhagen, Denmark’s upcoming EU Presidency, and COP30 in Brazil, 2025 is expected to be yet another significant year for Denmark’s green transition and international engagement. Against this backdrop, State of Green invited its closest partners and stakeholders for a new years reception at House of Green to reflect on previous achievements and collaboration, an not least to discuss the opportunities and challenges ahead.
In his welcome remarks, State of Green Chairman Jeff Gravenhorst emphasised the importance of strong partnerships in a time of global change. He highlighted 2025 as a key year for Denmark’s green leadership, with major international events shaping the agenda.
His Majesty King Frederik X’s presence underlined the Danish Royal Family’s long-standing support for Denmark’s green industries. As patron of State of Green for over 15 years, the King has been promoting Danish solutions internationally, marked by visits to the Danish Pavilion at COP28 in Dubai and participation in several export and climate initiatives across the globe.
