Join us at New York Climate Week 2026

With global emissions still off track and the impacts of climate change intensifying, 2026 stands as a pivotal year for turning ambition into implementation. At this year’s New York Climate Week, the focus is on accelerating collective efforts ahead of COP31 in Antalya, Türkiye, where the world meets once again to raise climate ambition accordingly.

Key discussions will centre around how to:

  • Deliver on the global pledge to triple renewable energy capacity by 2030,
  • Mobilise the climate finance needed to accelerate just and inclusive transitions,
  • And operationalise the Global Biodiversity Framework – turning goals into action across sectors.

In this context, State of Green will once again highlight the strength of public-private partnerships and showcase scalable, green solutions from Denmark that can contribute to global progress.

Sound of Green: Green investments are good investments

While the financial sector itself has a small direct carbon footprint, it plays a critical role in mobilising the capital needed to reach our international climate targets. And in Denmark, both private and public financial actors are showing how it can be done.

In this podcast episode with Rune Gade Holm from PensionDanmark, Lars Gert Lose from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), and Jakob Tvede from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we explore why it is not just imperative, but also lucrative to invest in the global green transition.
