DTU Wind Energy launches a new online master
The programme’s study plan consists of nine courses of 5 ECTS credits each. The programme concludes with a final project equivalent to 15 ECTS credits.
The programme covers all essential aspects of wind energy engineering based on the research activities taking place at DTU Wind Energy.
About the programme
This web-based programme offers great flexibility – you can study anytime and anywhere. The courses can be incorporated into a busy working routine and builds up new competences. Students will receive individual supervision and feedback from our lecturers throughout all courses. As a student, you are expected to visit DTU in Denmark in connection with the defense of your final project. After completing the programme, you will hold a Master of Wind Energy. The programme is accredited by the Danish Accreditation Institution. Attending the full Wind Energy Master programme, or selected courses, requires payment of a tuition fee.
The target group
The Wind Energy Master is suited for individuals all over the world who have an interest in sharpening their skills in one or more aspects of wind energy engineering.
- Employees in the wind energy industry (e.g. developers, manufacturers, suppliers of parts)
- Employees in associated private companies (e.g. consultants, utilities)
- Employees in the public sector (e.g. environmental agencies)
- Engineers from other sectors (e.g. oil and gas, shipping).
