White Paper on Wind Energy to Inspire at Windaba 2015

Download White Paper Wind Energy Moving Ahead

In this updated white paper, made in collaboration with the Danish Wind Industry Association and leading Danish actors across the wind power value chain, we have gathered lessons learned from different Danish players and legislators within the wind energy sector, supported by state-of- the-art case examples showing, for instance, how we work with integrating wind, invest in wind and optimise products to make more energy for less money.

Denmark has decided to lead the transition to a green growth economy and become independent of fossil fuels by 2050. Completely dependent on imported oil for decades, Denmark was severely affected by the oil crises of the 1970s and it was decided to take a new path. As a result, renewable energy – and in particular wind energy – has become a Danish stronghold.
