Danish Company Awarded for Solar Installation on the UN Building
4 July 2014
Solar Elements has been in the solar business for the past 15 years and in a field with a total output of 15 GWp (the same as 30 large coal power plants). Recently the company was recognised for its new solar cell installation on top of the UN building at Marmormolen in Copenhagen. Decisive factors to take the victory was the beautiful design of the installation and the high quality of the project. The solar cells produce 355 kWp.
A diploma and an "Electro roller" was given to engineer and project manager Morten Nielsen from Solar Elements who was responsible for the project at the UN building. Also present were Director Jens Mouridsen, Sales Manager Per Thomassen, and Technical Manager Jesper Lund.
Director Jens Mouridsen states: "It makes an impression when people from the outside world believe that we are making a difference. Our department in Vejle deserves the credit. We work hard there every day to find solutions based on the values that we have just received an award for, and it builds courage for future projects.
