Wave energy has a huge potential, is a stable resource and is very predictable compared to wind energy.
Wavepiston technology is protected by several conceptual patents and can be used for power production and desalination of seawater.
It has been tested and verified in a wave tank and in scaled prototypes in the North Sea. A detailed digital twin of the system is created that supports further development and optimization of the design. We are now installing the first full-scale system in Gran Canaria, to be operated in Q2-2023.
