To mention a few applications, PCMF is used as primary filtration at wastewater treatment plants instead of primary clarifiers, as tertiary filtration instead of sand filters, and is particularly suitable for advanced phosphorus removal (≤ 0,1 mg/L). Further, PCMF can be used to treat rainwater and road runoff.
