Hørsholm Municipality
Hørsholm municipality has since 2010 been a climate municipality and we prioritize sustainable energy sources. Even though we are a small municipality – approximately 24,000 inhabitants – we have carried out a range of CO² reducing initiatives. Solhuset, an integrated kindergarten, is the frontrunner in the municipality’s climate effort. Furthermore, there has been established 1,600 m2 of solar panels on public buildings and there is a continued effort to use district heating in the entire municipality.
