Dynelectro was founded on the back of 20 years research within high-temperature electrolysis, the process of converting water and renewable power into clean hydrogen. High temperature electrolysis is the most efficient type of electrolysis due to the physics of high temperature operation (i.e., circa 700-800 degrees Celsius). This means that there is substantially less wasted power, and therefore less waste heat, in the process.
The organisation is accepting commercial orders for the DELUX (Dynamic Electrolysis Large Unit X-MW) system which offers reversable and dynamic operation. System sizes are 1-MW, 4-MW and 20-MW and can be fully customised for industrial and off-grid applications.
Recommended industrial applications are biogas, hydrogen production and e-fuels (including ammonia and methanol production).
