+1
We take our responsibility as a utilities company seriously.
Aalborg Forsyning is in the middle of an ambitious transformation where we are transforming our heat production from using coal to alternative and electricity based energy sources and we aim to be a frontrunner in developing the energy solutions of tomorrow.
Our strategy focuses on an increase in the use of excess heat, by establishing larger storage facilities for flexibility, and by implementing new technologies in the heat production. The alternative technologies include e.g. electric boilers, large storage tanks for district heating water, and a seawater heat pump.
We are diligent that we cannot do this alone.
Through partnerships we can facilitate the development and testing of new technologies and cooperate to gain new knowledge and participate in circular processes with external partners. These processes allow Aalborg Forsyning to capture excess heat and use it for district heating thereby creating industrial symbioses, where one facility’s excess product can be used for production elsewhere.
Commitment and quality are keywords in everything we do
We are committed to finding the best technological solutions as possible while taking great care of the world we live in and we strive to high professional standards to deliver quality solutions that are reliable, safe, and secure for future generations
