On April 20, 2017, we became part of GE Renewable Energy, in a joint effort to power a cleaner world and unleash limitless energy.
LM Wind Power has produced more than 215,000 blades since 1978, corresponding to approximately 102 GW installed wind power capacity, which each year effectively replaces approximately 212 million tons of CO2. LM Wind Power’s global manufacturing footprint includes factories located on four continents in ten countries including Denmark, Spain, Poland, Canada, USA, India, France, Turkey, China and Brazil – on or close to all key markets for wind power to better serve our customers.

The longest wind turbine blade in the world is developed by Danish LM Wind Power and has a length og almost 90 meters. It is so solid that it can withstand the weight on ten full-grown elephants without breaking, and has a maximum speed by the blade tip of 300 km/h.
