Our renewable energy projects

UNISON Energy Partners is advancing Denmark's green transition by developing renewable energy projects that increase renewable energy availability and implement the wishes of the nearest neighbors and local communities in the best possible way. Through collaboration with municipalities, UNISON aims to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and support a sustainable future.

In a continued effort to boost Denmark’s renewable energy capacity, UNISON is advancing energy projects designed to increase the availability of clean energy, benefit local communities, and accelerate the country’s transition to a fossil-free future.

The projects span various suitable locations in Denmark. Each project is selected after careful screening to ensure the area is suitable for a renewable energy plant with regard to protected nature, other municipal “designations,” people living close to the area, and possibilities for grid connection. If the screening is positive, collaboration with the landowner will be initiated. This approach exemplifies UNISON’s mission to accelerate the availability of renewable energy and thus actively contribute to the green transition.

With a strong commitment to being the trusted partner in renewable energy and helping companies and societies transition to renewable energy, UNISON collaborates closely with municipalities, local communities, neighbors, and other stakeholders. Through dialogue, UNISON wants to ensure that each energy plant is implemented in the most suitable locations and with consideration for the surrounding landscape.

UNISON’s goal is to create projects with added value—not just energy production but also opportunities for community growth and environmental benefits. Each initiative is tailored to meet the unique needs of the areas UNISON works in. UNISON places great emphasis on developing energy projects with multiple functions that both support the national objective of reducing dependency on fossil fuels and promote biodiversity that creates local added value.

These projects have the potential to contribute to the broader vision of making renewable energy the norm in Denmark, as the country strives to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. Through local partnerships and forward-thinking strategies, UNISON is ensuring that every new plant serves both the environment and the community it powers, paving the way for a more sustainable future.

By building renewable energy infrastructure in harmony with local landscapes and needs, UNISON hopes to inspire further collaboration and foster a green energy revolution across Denmark.
