Join the Cycling Embassy of Denmark’s Bikeable City Masterclass 2019

Learn Cycle Promotion the Danish Way

The Cycling Embassy of Denmark invites urban planners, decision makers, and others to experience the Danish cycle culture. You will get the first-hand experience with Danish cycle solutions in two of the leading Danish cycle cities, Copenhagen and Odense.

Leading Danish experts from academics, consultancies, and city administration will teach you how they approach cycling. Through a mix of presentations, workshops and site visits, our experts will give you the inspiration to create more livable and bikeable cities

What you get

You will get know-how of integrating cycling in sustainable mobility policies and climate goals, cycle infrastructure design, road safety, multi-modal transport, and city logistics as well as cycle education and promotion. We will also work with you to directly apply and translate Danish solutions to the context of your own city.

Inspiration from across the Globe

In addition to insights into Danish bicycle know-how, the masterclass also offers a melting pot of inspiration from the participants’ own cities and countries. Our groups often count participants from both North and Latin America, Asia, and Europe, so you will also get a broad international network.

Practical info

Price: 1,800 € per person

Early bird: 1,700 € per person for the first 10 registrations before December 1, 2018

The course fee includes expert guidance, course material, and excursion to Odense, bike rental, lunch and coffee breaks. Travel and accommodation expenses are not included.

NB! We require a minimum of 19 participants.
