Funds acquire SCADA International

Funds advised by London-based Energy Transition investor Magnesium Capital LLP and Morgan Stanley Investment Management, have acquired SCADA Holding A/S, the parent company of SCADA International, the leading provider of mission-critical power plant software and control solutions to the renewable energy sector.

SILKEBORG, DENMARK — January 19, 2023 — The acquisition of SCADA International by funds advised by Magnesium Capital LLP (“Magnesium”) and Morgan Stanley Investment Management, announced on April 7, 2022, was completed on January 5, 2023, following regulatory approval of the transaction. The SCADA International management team is retaining a significant minority position alongside Magnesium and Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Executive Capital, which has been a shareholder since 2010, has fully exited.
