A bicycle ride along the harbor visiting the two projects: kinderGARDEN and Creative Blocks by WERK architects.

kinderGARDEN is – as the name suggests – designed as a green and playful landscape with vegetation on the facades. On a total of 7 levels, there is a playground on each floor, a swimming pool in the basement, and a children’s restaurant on the roof with a view over the Hamburg city center and the Hafencity. The cores of the building are arranged like tree trunks in the forest, between which the children can go on a journey of discovery and play.

The building community “Creative Blocks” in Hamburg was founded by 27 creative families and 11 local entrepreneurs who share the common desire to live, work, and be part of a modern residential community under one roof. Today, the families live in a new building directly at the Hamburger Baakenhafen, with unique, self-designed apartments and offices. Everyone has access to a variety of communal spaces, including a library, music room, greenhouse, studio, workshops, a whisky bar, and guest rooms for visitors.

Bicycling experience is a must to attend the site visits.
