Nordhavn is the northernmost part of the Copenhagen docks with an amazing location close to the central areas of Copenhagen and a unique view of the open Øresund, piers, docks and channels. Today it houses various dock activities, in the near future it’s going to be a sustainable city district with, at the first stage, at least 400,000 m2 of new buildings.

One of three
In a competition with 180 initial entries, the entry “Excentral Park – Edge Dynamics” – in which E.ON was involved as the energy advisor – was one of three competitors nominated to the final. Unfortunately we didn’t win, but nevertheless the City of Copenhagen is interested in our cooperation to develop energy solutions in Nordhavn.

Climate-smart solutions
The development of Nordhavn will focus on sustainable energy and new types of energy, an area in which E.ON has more than 10 years of unique experience. We know how to think in new ways when it comes to existing technology and how to create climate-smart and sustainable infrastructure solutions for the society of tomorrow.

It’s a great honour for us to be a part of the exciting progress in Nordhavn and we are looking forward to create solutions for the new sustainable city district in Copenhagen.
