Aquarden Technologies specializes in Supercritical Water Oxidation (SCWO) for the destruction of persistent and hazardous environmental pollutants. Today we deliver industrial scale turnkey SCWO solutions that are for instance used by our business partner ArianeGroup – European leader of space launchers – for the safe and complete destruction of explosives and other hazardous chemicals like PFAS below detection limits.

We serve the aerospace & defence, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, and chemical industries by delivering our SuperOx® SCWO systems onsite for treating problematic wastewater. We currently have several industrial scale SCWO systems operating in Denmark and France.

In 2016 we received the European Business Award for the Environment in Denmark for our significant contribution to sustainable development and innovation. Our SuperOx® SCWO system was also awarded the 2023 EUROPYRO France Innovation Prize by the French Association of Pyrotechnics for the innovative and sustainable destruction of explosives.
