AquaGreen is a Danish Cleantech company that has developed a patented integrated steam-drying and pyrolysis solution treating wet biomass. Initially we focus on municipal wastewater sludge. Our solution is by many considered world-class, eliminating even PFAS, operating continuous and unmanned and generating 5 times more power than it use.

The integration of sludge drying and pyrolysis, enables an optimal energy efficiency where the sludge can be dried without the use of external energy. The process is continuous and fully automated via the use of more than 100 sensors. It gives a very flexible solution that can treat both digested and undigested sludge with varying levels of dry matter (18-28 %) and energy content, without operator intervention.
