SEGES Innovation is an independent research and innovation company dedicated to sustainable and competitive agricultural and food production. Our deep expertise contributes to a well-founded knowledge base when making decisions that can ensure a balance between using and protecting the earth’s resources for the benefit of current and future generations.

We create solutions that can be used in the barn, in the field, and across the entire value chain from farm to table. New knowledge is put to work when we combine professional insights with digital technologies in our software tools. For example, we develop new farming methods that optimize yields while considering nature and the environment, and we test new crops for a more plant-based diet. We research animal welfare and health. We test how feed can reduce methane emissions from cows and how greenhouse gases from pig manure can be minimized.

Our diverse team of experts forms a unique professional environment of international top-class, with approximately 500 dedicated colleagues working based on the values of Courage, Heart, and Depth, and in close collaboration with Denmark’s more than 30,000 farms, universities and educational institutions, agricultural advisors, food producers, energy companies, and authorities.
