Center for Energy Technologies (HIRC) is a research center at Aarhus University, based at AU Herning. The center develops new knowledge, ideas and solutions through various projects within business development of electricity-related energy technologies among which hydrogen and fuel cells.

Vision

The vision of the Center for Energy Technologies is to promote development of renewable energy technologies. The center will make Denmark a pioneering country within use of electricity-related energy technologies.

Center for Energy Technologies works for:

The center provides corporate and business development within electricity related energy technologies through development and networking activities. Business and industrial development in the sense of increased growth, increased exports and increased employment. Center for Energy Technologies wishes to focus even more on developing the center through participation in projects, business development, knowledge sharing and implementation. The target audiences are companies within the energy industry, citizens, organizations, public organizations, developers, researchers, students and enthusiasts who have the opportunity to make a difference and act as change agents and opinion leaders in the renewable energy field.
