ecoBETA successfuly conducted water saving pilot projects in the Ivory Coast and UAE
Introduction
ecoBETA focuses on different areas of the world, where water scarcity is one of the crucial issues society needs to take into consideration. A close cooperation with the City of Sharjah, UAE and the City of Abidjan, Ivory Coast shows how to manage water consumption in these areas by using ecoBETA® dual-flush single button devices for toilets.
Sharjah, UAE
ecoBETA has been cooperating with the City of Sharjah in UAE via MEET Environmental Solutions. This vital partnership led to a pilot project back in October 2014 when water saving devices were installed to a building of local government.
A few months ago, ecoBETA received a letter with results: 49.7% overall savings on water consumption, return on investment in just 2.4 months, no damage to any of the water saving devices, and above all, not a single complaint.
We will be continuing a close cooperation in UAE.
Abidjan, Ivory Coast
Another successful pilot project was held in the City of Abidjan, Ivory Coast. In cooperation with our partners, ecoBETA implemented flushing valves to 5 different buildings in 2015. As a result, water consumption in the tested buildings dropped by 38 %.
The remarkable results have attracted a variety of local official as well as private entities and ecoBETA is ready to meet the ascending demand.
