About the conference

On 3 December 2025, this high-level conference will bring together European leaders and change agents at the science–policy–society interface to accelerate a just green transition for food systems and biodiversity.

Policymakers, researchers, industry representatives and civil society will explore how to translate research and innovation into evidence-based, multi-level governance that strengthens resilience, competitiveness and sustainability across Europe’s agriculture and food sectors.

The conference Transforming Food Systems and Biodiversity Governance in Europe will serve as a key platform to align policy frameworks, advance ESG and finance approaches, and co-create practical pathways for fair, healthy and regenerative food systems.

Sessions will focus on designing new governance models, connecting policies across governance levels, and identifying partnerships that can deliver lasting impact for Europe’s climate and biodiversity goals.
