About the conference

On 2 December 2025, this high-level conference marks the launch of the new EU Bioeconomy Strategy, setting a course to unlock bio-based innovation for regenerative, circular and sustainable growth across Europe.

Policymakers, researchers, industry leaders and civil society will explore how to scale and mainstream the bioeconomy through cutting-edge science, targeted innovation and effective governance.

The conference Boosting and mainstreaming the bioeconomy will mark a key moment for the launch of the new EU Bioeconomy Strategy. The strategy aims to unlock the full potential of bio-based innovation, enabling Europe to lead in regenerative, circular, and sustainable growth.
