The built environment generates 40 percent of the annual global CO2 emission. By decarbonising buildings a positive change towards a netzero society is within reach. But how can we reimagine existing and repurposing buildings, and what solutions are needed?
The historic Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA) and Local Law 97 climate laws put New York and New York City at the forefront of the building decarbonization industry. As actors across the building and construction industry ramp up to reach compliance goals, it is crucial to understand what is needed to close the gap between building sustainability, aesthetics and the requirements set by Local Law 97.
To accelerate deep energy efficiency retrofits, cities and professionals need better collaboration and international knowledge exchange. During this event, leading experts will exchange ideas on how to leverage building retrofits, while maintaining aesthetics, improve quality of life and at the same time build sustainable.
Take the opportunity to meet with peers and join us for an inspiration session at the Center for Architecture in New York City. This event is brought to you by State of Green, Creative Denmark and Danish Cleantech Hub.
