Power on – let’s discuss action
With global emissions still off track and the impacts of climate change intensifying, 2025 stands as a pivotal year for turning ambition into implementation. At this year’s New York Climate Week, the focus is on accelerating collective efforts ahead of COP30 in Belém, Brazil – the first COP to take place in the heart of the Amazon – where the world is expected to deliver the first Global Stocktake response and raise climate ambition accordingly.
Key discussions will centre around how to:
- Deliver on the global pledge to triple renewable energy capacity by 2030,
- Mobilise the climate finance needed to accelerate just and inclusive transitions,
- And operationalise the Global Biodiversity Framework – turning goals into action across sectors.
In this context, State of Green will once again highlight the strength of public-private partnerships and showcase scalable, green solutions from Denmark that can contribute to global progress.
