A platform for public-private climate action

Denmark has set an ambitious climate goal: To reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 70% by 2030. COP27 will be an unprecedented opportunity to discuss and share the green solutions needed to reach both national and global climate targets. That is why Denmark and +30 Danish public and private partners are present at the Danish Pavilion in the Blue Zone at COP27 – to share solutions, inspire for change and build partnerships.

Clean Energy: Decarbonization and Food Security

The world needs to rapidly accelerate the global clean energy transition to reach the Paris Agreement Climate targets. Electrification and e-fuels are central to the decarbonization of heating and cooling, and heavy industry. Clean energy holds an enormous potential for local job creation and development, increasing security of supply and even supporting food production by converting clean energy to green ammonia and thereby fertilizers. This event shows the climate, economic, and nutritional potential of clean energy and points to necessary policy actions to be taken by national and local governments across the globe.
