Eldan Recycling launches a New Generation of Eldan Raspers at the ISRI Convention and Exposition
Now Eldan Recycling launches a new generation of the Eldan Multi-Purpose Rasper - MPR200 HD. This upgraded version is based on the well proven Eldan Heavy Rasper, but with new features for more than double inertia in the flywheels, increased capacity and lowered down time for maintenance. The current Multi Purpose Rasper is already an efficient, medium speed, dual drive recycling machine ensuring individual size reduction of pieces of electronic scrap (WEEE), tyres, cables etc. down to as small as 12 millimeters (-1/2”). Improved features will take this recycling machine to its next technical level. The MPR200 HD will be presented at the ISRI Convention and Exposition, Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida USA, 9-13 April – Booth Number 1023.
“Regarding the fact that the Eldan Rasper is one the most popular secondary processor in the world it was a natural step to invest in improvements of its features. The MPR200 HD will be on display at ISRI accompanied by a 3D animation showing its new functionalities,” says Dr. Toni Reftman, Managing Director at Eldan Recycling.
Among the new features, the machine is now equipped with 220 kW (295 HP) main drive power and more than double inertia in the 2 belt/flywheels. The rpm is increased to 144 rpm which gives an increased capacity with up to 20%. The machine also has a new designed protection cover that is capable of protecting the bearing from steel, dirt etc. getting into the bearing.
