Water Valley Denmark is a non-profit alliance between Danish and international players, stretching from sciences and research institutes to startups and global supply companies. The vision is to accelerate global green growth by ‘creating the world’s most sustainable and efficient water cycle’. This is obtained by bringing the best minds in the water industry together with the aim of thinking openly and creatively across segments, professions, and traditional mental barriers.

We facilitate project collaboration and innovation to create solutions for the world’s fundamental water challenges. Our main activity is to facilitate open innovation that leads to Danish test and demonstration facilities. Our key objective is to strengthen the Danish innovation value chain within water tech from research over startups to test and demonstration initiatives that leads to export of Danish water tech solutions.  

Behind the innovation efforts of Water Valley Denmark stands the Confederation of Danish Industry, DI Vand, Aarhus Municipality and companies such as Grundfos, Danfoss, Kamstrup, AVK, Systematic, Aarsleff, Rambøll, several SMV companies, universities and companies within the water sector.
