Danida Green Business Partnerships is open for applications
Danida Green Business Partnerships (DGBP) is a business instrument under the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The programme focuses on green transition through development projects developed and implemented in partnerships between commercial and non-commercial partners.

Danida Green Business Partnerships is a challenge fund designed to promote market-driven green transition and inclusive economic growth in developing countries in line with the Danish Strategy for Development Cooperation The World We Share.
The DGBP programme brings commercial- and non-commercial actors together in partnerships to promote sustainable green commercial solutions to challenges related to climate change which at the same time can promote economic development through job creation. As such a DGBP project will promote both commercial and development objectives. Under the DGBP programme it is possible to apply for funding for two kinds of projects, full- and maturation projects. Maturation projects are aimed at projects that need to generate more information and certainty of essential aspects of the project – such as the partnership model, business case and/or the technological solution.
The below box describes the main features of the two project types:
DGBP projects should combine a good business case with positive impact on climate change, the environment, economic growth and people’s livelihoods. The business ideas must address a local development challenge and ideally complement Danish development strategic priorities in the target country. The involved commercial partners should be prepared for and interested in long-term engagement. The non-commercial partner should contribute with it’s strong local knowledge and expertise and jointly with the commercial partner ensure the development impact of the project.
The application deadline is 12th of September. A more detailed timeline is shown below.
