Energy 2020 is Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality’s strategy of becoming self sufficient in renewable energy by the year 2020. This means that production of renewable energy will match consumption by citizens and businesses within the municipality. This exciting project will cover workplaces, accommodation and transport.
Our objectives are achieved through dialogue and co-operation. The goal is for businesses, citizens, associations and institutions to carry out their own projects, great and small, using renewable energy and make energy savings.
This will encourage local businesses to develop and test new technologies and in this way create green growth within the municipality.
