Challenge

A European municipality sought to define a clear vision for transforming an industrial area into a hub for renewable energy manufacturing, while aligning stakeholders including municipal staff and elected officials.

Solution

Panticon worked closely with the municipality to analyze spatial and infrastructure requirements across key sectors such as offshore wind, subsea cables, shipbuilding, carbon capture, and port operations. Based on this, Panticon developed a comprehensive framework supported by detailed 2D and 3D models to guide future development.

Result

The updated district plan was formally adopted, leading to the designation of the area as a national industrial park. This enabled faster permitting processes and significantly enhanced the area’s attractiveness to investors.
