Our patented Wave Energy Converters (WECs) deploy ocean wave motion to produce hydraulic energy, for powering hydro turbines within offshore wind farms. Boosting power production of a farm with 50% compared to stand alone wind farms at 20m water depths makes hybrid farms (wind + wave) highly attractive for generating clean power.
A dedicated commercial product line, ExoMare, is a novel series of plug&play WECs installed at 2m water depth only, and in combination with desalination units. Generating freshwater 24/7 is a unique opportunity for converting wave energy and seawater into potable freshwater. Without relying on fossil fuels, land use for PV installations or grid power.
