Planning and wind project development

From design and development to maintenance and decommissioning - all phases of the wind farm life cycle require high planning expertise

To ensure the necessary approvals, maximum power output and a safe working environment the planning of a wind farm evolves around on three phases: Pre-construction, construction and post-construction.

In the pre-construction phase, a wind farm project must undergo extensive planning and development. This includes site investigations, environmental studies, wind measurements as well as turbine layout and technology selection. Going into construction, the project developer needs to ensure approved transportation routes, safe work environments and well-supplied production lines. Once commissioned, one must also consider wind farm maintenance and eventually decommissioning.

Danish companies have extensive experience with all phases of the wind farm life cycle. From consultancies and legal advisors, to suppliers, training providers and developers of new, global wind standards, the Danish companies cover the entire value chain.
