Director of Smart City Insights, Peter Bjørn Larsen, will also be participating at this year’s Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona, “The expo is a good mix between cities, regions and companies and you get the opportunity to speak to smart city leaders from around the world. I actually started the first Danish delegation to the Expo five years ago, but today it has grown into a large Nordic Pavilion. Last year, we were around 250 delegates from the Nordics participating and it gave an opportunity to meet with Danish and Nordic companies and cities with state-of-the-art smart city solutions.”

The Danish organisation CLEAN gathers all of the Nordic participants and this year’s event. 85 participants will represent the Danish delegation, while the Nordic delegation is counting on 400 representatives in total, which is almost double up from last year. The Nordic countries, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland will have a total of 32 booths at the expo.

The Danish exhibitors are LEDiBond, Novalume, Sweco, DTU, Region Hovedstaden, Gate21, LOOP City and Nordic Smart City Network.
