Danish biomass solution wins BlueTech Award in China

Dall Energy can now boast of winning a prestigious Finalist Award in Bluetech Award for its biomass furnace, the so-called ‘Dall Energy Multifuel Furnace’.  Jens Dall Bentzen, the Managing Director of Dall Energy, accepted the award on stage at the award show in Beijing on December 14, 2017.

This is not the first time the company has won an award for its biomass solutions. The Dall Energy Multifuel Furnace has won multiple awards: ‘The Clean Tech Price 2011’ in Denmark, ‘The European Inventor Award 2011’ in Hungary and ‘the Innovation Award 2010’ in Spain. However, these past awards do not make this win any less rewarding for the company:

- It was a great pleasure to receive the Bluetech Award and the recognition with it. I believe the Award will open new doors to partners and clients in China. The day after the Award ceremony, I had two meetings with potential partners in Beijing, and both of them said that the award is very good for promoting our technology, says Jens Dall Bentzen.

Launched by the Clean Air Alliance of China, BlueTech Award celebrates and promotes high-quality international clean air technologies. The Clean Air Alliance of China also provides ample support by helping the award-winners accelerate their business on ground and contribute to China’s air quality management.

- The general manager of the Bluetech Award will visit our plant in Sønderborg. When he sees what our technology can do, he will find the right partners and clients for us, explains Jens Dall Bentzen.

The BlueTech Award assesses around 200 clean air technologies from 16 countries and examines and analyses them for their real-world results, environmental benefits, technological performances and financial viabilities. The Dall Energy Furnace was awarded as a finalist for its many advantages compared to other average biomass furnaces by providing 90% less dust emission, 90% less CO emission, 25% NOx emission as well as providing both fuel flexibility and low maintenance costs.

Dall Energy received the finalist award for its Dall Energy Multifuel Furnace.

Fighting air pollution in China
China is suffering from severe air pollution. However, progress is being made. According to a recent study, pollution in the country has been reduced with 21 percent over the last two years. By encouraging global knowledge-sharing, initiatives such as Bluetech Award helps to bring leading international clean air technologies to the front and center of the fight. With the new award, Dall Energy can now boast of being among the technology providers helping the country further along the right path to cleaner air.
