Securing local power supply. When establishing a wind farm with 54 MW installed capacity, the grid connection of the wind farm will contribute to a secure power supply to the local area where the wind farm is located.

In addition the project will contribute to the power supply in a part of the country where an increasing demand is creating challenges during wintertime.

The project is the first step of a planned portfolio of wind power projects located in the same area, both on- and offshore
